"Audio Ape" is an independently developed plug-in for Luxology modo 601 that enables audio playback (since modo does not currently support audio natively).
The following video provides a brief overview of "Audio Ape":
Supported:
- Luxology modo 601
- Mac OSX 10.6 or later
- Microsoft Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit), Vista, XP
Features:
- Forward and reverse playback
- Timeline scrubbing
- Enable or disable the plug-in (to turn audio playback on or off)
- Offset to move the starting playback position of your audio relative to the modo timeline
- Volume to set the baseline level of your loaded audio. This is used to correct for audio files with particularly low or high levels. For general playback, you should use your operating system audio setting to change volume
- Audio information is stored with your scene (in a locator). When you load or save a scene, your audio information is there too
- If multiple scenes are loaded in Modo, you can switch between them and hear the appropriate audio
